March 2009

Life’s been great! Used the holidays to catch up on my readings and progress in school. I definitely benefited from my seniors whom have their MCTs right this instant! Goodness, I feel terrified thinking that one year later I’d be in their shoes.

Basically, my life still (fortunately or unfortunately) revolves mainly around band and academic studies. I’m trying hard to do my part and more in band as well as keep up with the menacing pace of the whole Junior College educational system. I’m glad I survived the first day of Term 2 relatively well, despite having the tendency to have an eye closed during both Maths lectures and tutorials. It’s amazing though, that I can still be able to grasp certain key concepts which are rather significant for the journey of Maths! It’s crazy but I’m utterly grateful and thankful to have had started Maths tuition once again with Wang Peng. Words cannot describe how well she allows me to understand and build up a very strong foundation in each chapter. I was doubtful that with the whole new syllabus thing going on, she might not be able to effectively give me helpful pointers but I was proven wrong! Very wrong indeed.

Throughout the holidays, I made time to at least get a breather and go out to enjoy some greens (this time not the colour of my uniform!) but unfortunately things just had to go against me and I was practically faced with the stupid thunders and strong winds @ Sentosa when my intention was to go there with FY and at least soak in the sun.. Darn!

Concert’s coming up this Sunday! Anyone going? Haha! Can’t wait. Well Jacob de Haan was definitely a driving force and motivation during West Winds rehearsals, but I got to admit, I’m still looking forward to something better and much more exciting!

Javanese gemelan is terribly scary! Studying it during MEP can make me go bonkers. I’m amazed at how there are quite a number of people in my class with perfect pitch. Even Miss Chew has that! Makes me wonder if I’m worthy to be in the class or not.. Well, we should work together because ultimately, our main goal is to really get the As throughout the class. Shouldn’t be an individual effort, but a class and united one.

I’ve been staying up late very frequently (like now) because I have the tendency to take coffee in the evening! Not that it really disallows my brains to rest. I’m physically tired with the crazy sleeping hours. I’m mentally so awake and I wanna do so many things! Just can’t seem to coordinate well!

JC life is great. Love every moment of it – even for the very screwed up times in it.

Haven’t updated for such a long time! Life’s been great (oh yes, I managed to visit Pei Hwa during their band camp last week. Got to say, a huge WOW to Mr Tang for bringing them up in such a crazy kickass manner. Woohoo!)

Got lots of different photos up in my phone. But without Photoshop, I can’t resize them and make them look undistorted. WordPress sucks at resizing photos here. Darn!

Cya guys!

Such beauty…

Had the ‘North People BBQ’ with TJCSB bandmates omg they rock so hard hahahahahha! It was such a great time man, the dessert was great, the food was great, the atmosphere was just awesome – got to know so many of them lots better!

Ah, life’s great

Is the start of JC meant to be a period of failing test after test and feeling freakishly crazy about it?

I can still manage an ‘LOL’…. omg

I can’t even recall when was the last I ever logged into this account to post or just check out certain stats of my blog haha.. Life’s way too hectic!

The feeling I get from the whole JC experience so far is just like the feeling of how you’ll feel when teachers drill you for the O Levels… And it’s just getting progressively terrible and traumatising!

Assignments piling up, deadlines so very tight, rest is never enough etc etc… Haha how I wish I’m going through what my seniors went through – ponning lessons and skipping lectures. What the heck, no one’s dong that in school now! HAHAHA not that I want to follow them… But their lives seemed to meaning and rich in life.

I went out to meet my Sec 4 friends just about a week ago! They’re a really nice bunch of people oh gosh I really felt good having met them again at this weird timing!

The guys of the group! Hahahaha

And I just got pictures of Fiesta from Linda!! HAHA finally LOL
