I hardly get a chance to breathe!
So today was the band’s soundcheck @ Republic Polytechnic. They have been putting in so much effort and it’s really evident in their progress and improvement. I feel tremendously proud of them; it just feels sooo nice having to be there for them and letting them know that I’m there for them. Yea, I may not play such a big role in the band, but I feel it’s a responsibility now as the Senior. It has been a great pity having no one to look up to and set our own expectations. Now that I can be a senior to the rest of the band, I want to do it well, and support them whenever they need it!
They were simply great
Seeing them improve so much ever since the Sec 4s stepped down, it’s crazily unexpected that they have matured into such a devoted and dedicated team of players. I salute them! Haha.
Coming back to real life, I can really feel the pressure now. But I guess it all boils down to giving myself my own pressure. I indeed can take time off and have a breather, but somehow, I just can’t? Haha, so many little things can soothe my soul and that is band and music! Haha.. I think I’m mad.
Congratz Gena! She got accepted by Nan Yang JC!
Well so today was racial harmony day. It was brilliant!! Though I was rather antisocial today, I really liked seeing all my classmates being in their ethnic costumes. We actually look pretty good! But I have to hand it to traditional costume wearers because it is excruciatingly difficult to manouvre in the clothing!! Haha and Jia Ying was absolutely un-Indian in her Sari..
It’s marvellous how this was my first time wearing an ethnic costume in my 10 years of education. First time! Not bad, eh? And I guess for many too! It’s the last year of Secondary school life and I must say it has been rather enriching.
Alright, alright. I’ll stop the nonsense. Add. Math test tomorrow. Gotta try my best.
Cya guys.

Hello Alastair!
I’m sure you’re a good senior! ((: I got to agree it’s always heartening to see how much our juniors mature.
And, I love our class spirit during Racial Harmony Day too!! I was so proud of 4E1! I hope this class spirit will be there all the time. It’s also my VERY FIRST TIME wearing ethnic costumes to school on Racial Harmony Day! hahahah. I guess Miss Krishnan is really good at convincing us. xP
Finally, I just want to tell you, all the best and keep doing your best! It’s really tough, I must say. Cause I’m going insane too!!! Haha. You’ve been studying so hard, I’m sure you can make it! Once again, congrats for your successful application into TJC! And I’m sure that with your diligence, it is difficult to score more than 18 for your Os.
lots of love,
Huishan. (:
